Seven new apprentices at NKE AUSTRIA

. Janet Mo

To cope with the company’s fast growth and to fight against skills shortage, NKE AUSTRIA sets a high priority on vocational training. The goal of having 10 percent share of apprentices has been realised by taking up seven new apprentices on 1 October 2008.

In the production department, Nihad Dzanko, Stephan Karall and Karin Vielhaber will be trained as production technicians and Manuel Hamdan as warehouse logistician.
The engineering team is strengthened by Michael Zautner and Nicolina Fromm as trainee design engineers. Stefan Horak starts his apprenticeship in the sales department.

The cooperation with the sister company NKE Bildungs- und Service GmbH (NKE Education and Service Ltd.) guarantees a comprehensive and competent training programme. From November 2008 an apprentice workshop will be in operation, providing first class vocational training facilities to all companies in the metal-working industries.

Currently there are totally 14 apprentices at NKE AUSTRIA.
