Bearing manufacturer NKE AUSTRIA GmbH held its fifth International Distributor Conference from 14th to 17 October 2010 in Steyr, Austria. About 190 participants from 30 countries attended the event. The biennial conference is a platform for NKE distribution partners to share ideas and experiences.
The conference started on 14th October with a reception and a gala dinner at the Museum Arbeitswelt Steyr. The following main conference day began with a panel discussion with the both managing directors and company founders Heimo Ebner and Harald Zerobin. Subsequently, a restrospect of NKE's development during the last two years, sales strategies and technical competence were presented. Finally the outstanding marketing initiatives of NKE distributors were highlighted and awarded with prizes. In the afternoon, the delegates took part in a guided tour in the company's new plant as well as the training centre with apprentices workshops. The day ended with a cozy "Austrian Evening" at Schloss Kremsegg near Steyr. On Saturday, the participants joined an interactive excursion to experience the romantic city Steyr. The event ended on 17th October with the departure of the guests. The next NKE Distributor Conference will be held in 2012.
