NKE AUSTRIA GmbH has recently received the Austria Quality Seal. The accredited quality seal is awarded to Austrian enterprises by the Austrian Association for the Promotion of Quality (ÖQA) after successful quality inspections. Quality Seal bearers receive with the commendation a certificate as proof of the distinguished quality of their products and services.
As a guarantee for high quality for the past 60 years, the Austria Quality Seal is awarded to products with an Austrian value-added component of at least 50 percent, including the costs of raw materials, semi-finished products, accessories and expertise. The quality criteria cover all important product properties. Using the Quality Seal, the bearer commits to fulfilling the quality criteria and to comply with the terms of use as stated in the ÖQA’s regulations.

NKE's Steyr site is accredited to ISO 9001:2000 (design, development, production and distribution of bearings), ISO 14001 and EMAS (environmental management).
