For the third time, NKE AUSTRIA GmbH opens its doors to the children of its employees during the summer months. This free additional service for the NKE workforce makes it possible to combine work and family during the summer holidays!
Work-life balance - a catchword that NKE AUSTRIA GmbH takes to heart. So over the summer holidays, the company is converting its two largest meeting rooms into a company kindergarten, which all employees can use free of charge.
Childcare is provided by qualified staff who cater to the needs of the "little ones" aged 4-13. In the various theme weeks, the kids experience not only games, fun and handicrafts, but also exciting excursions or outdoor activities in the nearby well conservation area.
This is not only a good time for the children, but also for the parents, who know that their children are well looked after and close by.
This voluntary commitment of the company arose from the "Initiative for the Advancement of Women" of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour in 2008. The package of measures of NKE AUSTRIA GmbH received an award for the plans for the advancement of women in the company and thus child care became a fixed component of the voluntary benefits of the company to its staff from summer 2009.
