Application:

• Oil pump for transformer oil cooler in the Taurus locomotive

Problem:

• Initial solution with standard bearings did not offer sufficient life time
• NKE engineering established electrical corrosion as the root cause for failures

NKE Solution: 

• Bearings with ceramic balls preventing the passage of electric current – 3306-B-TV-C3-SQ77B and 6305-C3-SQ77B
